The 3 Best Fat Burning Supplements for Women

Posted on June 14, 2023 by Brett Mac

When it comes to working out and burning off fat, I think it’s safe to say that any of us will take all the help we can get.  Especially when it comes to stubborn fat that JUST. WON’T. GO. AWAY. No one may know this struggle better than women. It’s a scientific fact that women have a harder time losing fat.  But, don’t worry ladies. Help is out there, and it comes in the form of fat burning supplements. I know, I know, there seems to be as many supplements out there as there are stars in the sky.  So, how do you pick the right one for your needs?

Burn that Fat!

First of all, you want to look at the supplements that specifically burn the fat away.  When it comes to these supplements, you’re going to be looking for something that controls your appetite, boosts your energy levels, and kicks your metabolism into high gear.  With the right fat burning supplement, all of these are possible. When choosing the supplement that will best suit your needs, it’s important to look for some of the major ingredients that are known for busting fat and boosting your energy: caffeine, cayenne pepper, and green tea extract.  These ingredients are well known, proven, and trusted among many in the fitness community. It’s important that you keep in mind, however, that fat burners aren’t meant to be taken for long periods of time. Not only will they lose their effectiveness, but you can find yourself taking more than the recommended dosage just trying to reach the same effects.  This is an unhealthy practice, and is definitely not recommended.

Curb Your Appetite With Whey Protein Isolate!

Honestly, curbing your appetite is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the benefits of whey protein isolate.  This supplement is the not only the highest quality whey protein available, but it’s also the leanest. Isolates contain absolutely no dietary fats or carbs, ensuring that those who take it get exactly what they’re after: 100% pure protein!  This allows you to keep your caloric intake low while feeling fuller for longer, and reduced muscle loss. Whey isolate is also considered the easiest supplemental protein to digest, as well as the fastest. Due to this, ingesting a whey protein isolate shake after your workout is a great way to quickly get the amino acids in the shake straight to your muscles.  Isolates have also been shown to help reduce fat in the abdominal area, a well known problem area when it comes to weight loss.

Bring on the BCAAs!

Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are another impressive supplement worth considering when it comes to reducing body fat without losing any lean muscle mass.  These supplements are actually amino acids that work to stimulate your muscle’s protein synthesis, when lowers and even prevents the loss of muscle mass. You see, when you’re on a low calorie diet, your body puts itself into what is known as a catabolic state.  This means that since you aren’t ingesting the amount of calories your body is used to, it will instead break down muscle tissue to make up for that “loss”, and can even stop fat loss altogether. This is exactly what you don’t want, and this is where BCAAs come into play.  By stopping the breakdown of your muscles, these supplements can keep you from losing that muscle mass, and from feeling tired and worn down.
